Sledging and skating

If you get tired of skiing, you can also try out the sledge runs and skating rinks. “Night” sledge riding, sliding on inner tubes, and snowshoeing excursions are also wonderful experiences.

  • Kaiserburg / Wöllaner Nock: 800 m run
  • 4 km track from Falkerthaus to Lärchenhütte
  • 4 km track leaving from the Poldlhütte
  • “Unterwirthütt’n” with the tractor taxi, at Hüttengaudi

Skating

There are several artificial ice skating rinks for both adults and children in Bad Kleinkirchheim.

The most famous, and with a length of 25 km, also the largest natural ice rink in Europe is on the Weissensee. Other options include the rinks at Turracher Höhe, Brennsee (Feld am See), Afritzer See, Wörther See, etc.
