At our restaurant in Bad Kleinkirchheim in the Birkenhof we unite two culinary worlds to form a harmonious whole. Wiener Schnitzel meets Szegediner Gulyás, regional Carinthian products meet Hungarian finesse. Our dishes are simple and genuine, with no pomp and splendour– every bite focuses on pure flavour, without frills but with lots of love.

The day at our OTP hotel in Bad Kleinkirchheim starts with a rich breakfast buffet: crispy pastries, bread specialties, Carinthian ham and cheese, freshly prepared egg dishes, jams, honey and fresh fruit. Those who wish will also find specific dietary and special products – everything for a light, vital start to the holiday.

After a hike, ski day or excursion, the afternoon coffee break is a real treat with fine pastries and the scent of freshly brewed coffee. On the terrace with views of the Nockberge or cosy in the restaurant – recharge here before the evening begins.

The culinary finale of the day is dinner: a 4-course menu with several choices and salad buffet or a hot buffet. Austrian classics and Hungarian specialties take centre stage, refined with regional ingredients. Variety is guaranteed, as we continually renew our offer and adapt it to the seasons. For guests with special dietary needs we provide individual solutions – whether allergies, diabetes or particular diets. Please let us know your wishes when booking; our chefs are happy to discuss every detail.

Our in-house wine cellar can boast with a discerning selection of Austrian, Hungarian and international wines. For gourmets there’s even more: right next to the hotel is the famous WOB Distillery of former ski racer Wolfram Ortner. Here you can taste fine spirits on guided tours – elderberry, raspberry and honey are particularly popular. In the evening our digestif salon invites you to enjoy: cognacs, cigars and sophisticated cocktails round off the day in style.
