When the peaks of the Nockberge are covered with snow, Bad Kleinkirchheim turns into a real winter paradise. More than 100 kilometers of ski slopes, 97% snow security (thanks to 730 snow cannons) and a 15 km long toboggan run are available for the lovers of active recreation. Here you will find the longest slopes in Carinthia, including race tracks and the famous Franz-Klammer-Abfahrt, which stretches between the Kaiserburg and the thermal baths.
Magnificient mountains make the place into an unrivalled ski resort where snowboarders can enjoy the Funpark, while cross-country skiers can enjoy well-maintained trails. And those who don't get tired even in the evening can try the special atmosphere of the illuminated ski slopes.
